YOTA (Youngsters On The Air) for JAPAN

欧州を中心に、若いハムを育成しようという、YOTAプロジェクトが大きな

成果を生みつつあります。

YOTAでは、各国それぞれでの活動に加え、毎年欧州各国が持ち回りに

よる世界大会も開かれています。

世界大会では、教育者や人材育成のプロが協力して作られた、一週間の
カリキュラムが用意され、およそアマチュア無線に関するすべての要素を
学びます。デジタル通信、ARDF、衛星、短波帯DX、コンテスト、すべての
テーマについて分け隔てなく、偏見なく伝授しようという思想だそうです。

今年（2016年）のオーストリア大会には30か国から、25歳以下のハムが
114人参加したそうです。 キャンプの模様は、毎日ビデオクリップが公開
され、とても楽しそうでうらやましく感じました。

このプロジェクトを推進している人たちも、30歳代と思しき若者で、コー
ディネータを務めるのは、まだ若手ハムと言ってよいPA2LS, Lisaです。

来年（2017年）の世界大会は英国ロンドン郊外のギルウェル・パークで、
2017年8月5日～12日に開催されることになりました。

このYOTAプロジェクトを、もっと学びたいと考えています。

Japan International DX Meeting (JIDXM)

The Organizing Committee has pleasure in announcing “The Japan International DX Meeting 2016”.  The meeting will take place at the Tokyo Big Sight (http://www.bigsight.jp/english/) in Ariake, Tokyo Japan on August 20 (Sat.), 2016.

The meeting will start with a seminar/presentation at 14:00, followed by a reception from 17:45 until 20:30.  We wish to have many overseas participants from Asia and the world, and we are looking forward to welcoming you to this gathering.  Let’s have an enjoyable and memorable time together with many JA DXers.

The following will be the main focus of attention at the JIDXM 2016.

l  DX-Pedition a large scale project (VP8STI/VP8SGI and FT4JA teams)

l  Integration of Information Technology and Amateur Radio (ClubLog)

l  Reception/party including but not limited to, an award presentation, lottery having lavish prizes Details will be announced at the above JIDXM web-site.

Admission fees for Non-resident of Japan:  USD 70 or EUR 70 or JPY 7,000 per person
